hey all had to get out for a fish this weekend but with the weather and tides the way they were decided to stay closer to home so took the misses out for a day of fishing on the georges.

Hit the water 630 at revesby and headed straight to tom uglys for a halfa but not even a bite. moved up bit more to captin cook and tried between the 2 still for no activity at all. Now 10am we headed back to oatley park baths anchored and started to get a few small bream and whiting then as we were thinking of movein on the misses bags a just on legal bream . we moved up to oatley bay as tide was now running out and thought we might try for a flaty, nothing happen there so back to the baths but now on the drift on the first pass she landed another bream this one at 30cm 2nd pass we both go a big hit with in 20 sec of each other mine broke off straight away her got a fight for about 20 sec went straight under boat then snapped line we ended up getting a few more just under size bream, small flatys and the odd whiting so was not a big catch but worth going out 2 takers is better than none , they were nice to eat tonight and the misses is happy about her 1st take home catch. not much too look at but here is a pic post-13184-126847801225_thumb.jpg

We were throwing lures, using MF40 soft plastic blades and soft plastic shads. The MF40 did most of the damage, as they have for the last couple of weekends. The SP bugs, flick baits and shads keep having their tails bitten off by those pesky little tailors.
