Koopsmith Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 When fishing a competition that is catch and release, should you land a fish that is truely a monster of it's species, should you release it, or keep it and take it to be mounted? This cam up after talking about a flathead comp and keeping a fish of over 1 metre in length. Should these fish be put back to keep growing and for someone else to catch, or are they worthy or preserving on a wall somewhere as a historical catch? Thoughts? Guest Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 Keeping or releasing fish is an individual thing and is entirely up to the angler and as long as it is legal for the comp or fisheries rules (anglers do what they think is right in their minds).
