Breambucket
After getting into the plastic sceen i have not touched bait in 8 months so i Hit the harbour with the old man and the old bloke from work who got me into the dark art of luderick fishing A slow start with alot of half downs and 3 lost fish we finally had one in the keeper. It was a mixed day with alot of missed quality fish but still managed 9 fish between us and i dare say we lost another 15 but atleast we got a feed! Fished ranged from 28-38cm but its looking promising for the months to come cheers guys Pete
arpie
Well done Pete! That bottom one looks nice & big!! It is fun catching blackies, & usually a fairly reliable way of getting a feed! Watch out - it can become mildly addictive!! cheers Roberta

GregL
G'day Pete Couple of decent fish there, what area were you guys fishing? I've been chasing them a few hours a day for the last 3 and fishing Drummoyne, Hunters Hill and Balmain for some nice bags with fish to 46cm. Out of the 5 spots I have fished the ones in more current have fished better for sure and for some reason the run out tides been tops. 6lb leaders have made a difference in bites compared to mates that have rigged with 10. I took it up about 40 years ago, haven't stopped since, but could give it up anytime i want. (I THINK)

Greg Hey mate we fish just around from the zoo i couldn't tell you the actual name of the place either because i dont actually know lol there is a nudest beace not far from us but thats all i know, Last season my biggest was 44cm but my old man lost a massive fish the same day which was bigger than the opening (in length) of our landing net so at a guess 50-53cm. last year we used 4-6lb leader but this week i tried 8lb flurocarbon and didnt loos any gear and still had plenty od downs from picky fish so i hope im on a winner. Oh and the same run out has been better for us but really just as long as the water is moving you have a chance Pete
