Parking At Spit During Weekdays

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if parking at the spit is free on weekdays or not?

It will be much appreciated if you could share your knowledge.

I don't think the main carpark is anymore.

yeh the big one aint, but on the otherside of the bridge(manly side) theres a small carpark that is, its hard to see on google maps, if your coming from the city cross the bridge after the bridge turn right into Avona cresent or chuck a u turn depends how game you are, depends on the time of day, then head back towards the bridge, just before you hit the bridge theres an entrance on your left, go slow or youll miss it, theres a little road that curves down towards the water, theres a little carpark there for about 6 cars or so, there should be an old unusable boat ramp there, you can fish any where along the edge, a bit snaggy towards the bridge side, walk along the rocks towards fisher bay, youll get less snags there, its more of a deeper edge too......
