Going to Port Macquarie in a few days days for just over a week

Should be fishing fishing fishing for me

So i'm just wondering if anyone knows whats going on around there at the moment ?

I was thinking if i got up at just before sunset when theres no tide running and throwing around Large Softies/Blades for Flathead and am kinda hoping for a small school Jewie.

What about the breakway at night ? Jews with livies ? I don't really wanna stay up late but it does'nt bother me haha.

I'll try to get some Live Squid ( Any Squid Spots/Squid In Port Mac ) If that fails then I'll jig up some Yakkas/Any Livies ) If that fail's I'll use the slated Bonito fillets. I'll set up the rod 20 mins before the slack tide, And start flicking a bream rod around.

Hey there cut-loose.

Check out my report on port macquarie I just put up.

Plenty of baitfish at bottom end of the breakwall at the warf.

It is fairly big so you can't miss it.Massive patch of lawn there as well.

Did meet up with a guy about to give the channel a go for jews but I did not get back again to see how he went.

What sort of baitfish were they ? Yellowtail ?

Does anyone know if you can get squid in port mac ?
