Piss'n'Broke
Greg hit the main harbour again today loaded with freshly caught squid and yakkas. First bait down, a strip of squid, had just hit bottom and before he could crank it up a metre or 2, king (72cm). For the next 2-3 hrs it was non stop till almost 9am, with double hook ups, hook ups on the drop, and bearly a minute to spare for a beer, and or smoke. End tally for the day was over 15 kings landed, all legal(72cm-mid 90's), 4 bustoffs on, and pulled hooks on a few more. None were kepted considering we already have a fair bit after Tuesday efforts. Suprisingly thou, the kingys were taking squid and yakkas alike whereas 2 days ago they were not. Sorry no pics this time, Greg does not have a mobile with a camers, or digi cam Dan Edited April 8, 2010 by Dan and Greg

Piss'n'Broke
No, I want to put a scotty on the boat, but Greg does not believe in downrigging, and its his boat. So his rules. Dan

jim77
Good fishing guys! I was out today with a mate - we managed 5 solid legals. We went outside in the lee of the cliffs to get away from the wind - by the sounds of it we should have stayed inside the harbour!
