Dave66 Posted April 17, 2010 Share Posted April 17, 2010 While drifting across the Wagonga flats casting surface lures to the ever willing bream, tailor and whiting on our Narooma holiday, my wife suddenly blurts out " I could live here!!". To say I nearly dropped my rod in sudden amazement was maybe a bit of an understatement. Maybe it was because she was 8 to 4 up at that stage and feeling good about kicking my butt I'm not really sure, but she still felt the same way when we pulled into our driveway a few days later. Telling a fisherman who lives in northern Victoria some 9 hour drive from the NSW south coast that he has the green light to make a sea change is a once in a lifetime opportunity so I set about finding a job. It looks like I may have found work in Bega so I will now have the little bit of coast between Mallacoota and Tuross Head to explore. Tathra looks like a nice quiet place to live.
