Mercer007
I also know what you mean. I headed to a reputable bream spot sat morning to find lots of undersized bream. Of 30 fish landed only 4 were legal going 27 and 28cm each. Bring on the white wash and the drummer.

luderick59
well the swell picked up overnight mona vale pool had 3ft waves in the pool at 5.30 this morning. armed with pillie cubes no4 hook 00ball sinker 6lb mono i cast into the wash at the corner of the beach close to the rocks and the bream were there ended up 4 bream from 35cmdown to 27cms and lost 3 in my keeper net which i had tied to the pool steel post had to bury fish in the sand and mark the spot with a stick so the pelican could not get them did not try for blackies but im sure they would have been there this swell is just what we needed to bring on the fish peter Edited April 26, 2010 by luderick59
wchh
Stayed there till 7:45 last night. Only caught two tailors around 6pm when the moon is about 1pm and 1 slamon earlier which I let go. Used the talors for bait hoping something big but ended the fillet always got pecked by some kind of tinny fish. The wave picked up quite a bit (close to wild)at about 7:15pm but still no decent gutter. The wave brought in a lot of weeds. You cast in the dark and got tangled with weeds in 5 seconds, it is too frustrating to stay and packed up.
arpie
Glad you got into the breambos, Peter - nice feed. I was thinking the blackies should have been on with the higher tide - should get better towards next weekend? Cheerio Roberta
