luvbigfish Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 hi raiders , took the mrs nad kids out early this morning , left tunks at 5.15am,planned on getting some nice livies, squid and yakkas then hit our spot for some king action!!!! 1st the weather turned bad,wind started blowing then the rain started,couldnt find many yakkas just a ton of little squire ( which is good to see i guess)didnt get any squid , tried our king spots with the couple of yakkas we caught without any luck , weather calmed down around 9.30 so we headed out to our falthead spots off south head , and got smashed by jackets 1 after another,lost heaps of gear,wacked on some wire trace to save some gear,but no flatties out there today,headed back into the habour landed 1 lost and lonely flattie 56cm,called it a day,hope every one else had better luck than us Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bluebottle18 Posted May 2, 2010 Share Posted May 2, 2010 I found a small school of jackets at the mouth of Lane Cove whilst looking for Flathead. Emptied my tackle box of my favourite hook.
