Crabbing In Berowra

Hi Guys,

I'm new to crabbing, and would like to try it in berowra. Just want to know when are the best times? To tides matter with crabs?

Do you use mullet?

Normally I place a piece of mullet loose/free inside the trap so anyone can get to it, but then I place most of it inside a netted bit so no fish/crab can get to it. Do you just need bait in the netted area where fish can't get to it?
