Dangerous Weather Conditions This W/e

hi guys,

with all the publicity recently on some tragic fishing trips i thought i would post this.

i decided at last min to try get some weed for an early morn blacky session but was too dark to get some from narra lagoon.

i decided to check out if the nth narrabeen headland was safe and had some..

well the seas were very angry and were washing all way past the pool to the path at times and the sth waves smashed against walls scooting over pathway..

met a guy trying to fish the corner shallows for bream which woulda been my pick too but unfortunately alveys, light line and wind dont make a good mix..

picture the conditions as he was wearing waders standing on the pathway.we were very safe here though.

please dont risk it guys, where i live the chopper landing in park across the road in prolonged rescues is all too frequent and can mostly be avoided if proper precautions are taken..

it was good to see a couple of guys not chance neering the platform or pool area and one was trying the channel area but as i told him prob not a good option with such a large surge swell pushing there..

i might have a rising tide sunrise go at some big bluenose breambo's but if winds up as expected migh make my stealth shallow water spot unfishable :ranting2:..

wherever your fishing this w/e be safe guys...

cheers...steve......
