I got a few with lures out the back of my boat behind the bommie, marys reef I got smashed but was using light gear for snapper and if your land based rising tide from lillie pillie very early on sunrise with live squid or yellow tails.

Out towards the northern headland from the hacking is a lot of safe rock ledges, as above squid and yellow tail under a float.

There are plenty in the hacking if you know where to look, think eddies and underwater structure
