prawn*
Does anyone know where you can find the barometer readings for different areas in Sydney? I have been keeping a fishing diary for a while now but don't have a barometer reading for the days I have fished. thanks gav mate do what i do and buy a home weather station u can pick them up for around $70 on auction sites *cough* i live only a 5 minute walk to my fishing spots so i can use my weather station as a accurate guide as to what barometer pressure is around and it also tells u accurate wind so i can plan my trips in advance,
tumra
i get my barometric pressure from the BOM website. it doesnt give you the exact location you want but it does give you the pressure approx every 1/2 hour. They keep the data up for the previous 3 days so you need to be quick writing your diary otherwise you miss out. Because i fish in the hacking i typically use the readings taken from lucas heights. They arnt the best but do give an indication on what the general pressure was doing. http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDN60901/IDN60901.95757.shtml If you go to the clickable map under observations you can look at other areas in sydney though not all observations provide details on the pressure. Good luck
