Ray R
Hi Raiders, I grabbed a few more angry Avoca shots this morning, water covering the entire platform. The swell will receed but at the moment she is very ugly.. Enjoy the pics, no plants or animals were harmed whilst the taking of these pics.. Captain Spanner
Imagine what that will look like at 8pm tonight with an extra half a metre on the high tide. Edited May 27, 2010 by Captain Spanner

james7
WOW! You certainly would want to be careful fishing around there! I was hoping you'd post a few "angry wave" shots Ray. You must have read my mind! Great photos! I never get tired of your Avoca pictures. Brilliant! Cheers Peter
Hodgey
*shudder* Nasty conditions indeed, Ray ... but fantastic photos from our intrepid photography as always! Cheers Hodgey
disturb3d
planning on fishing avoca today, would it be worth the trek? i'm about an hour away and if conditions are too rough, then its a waste of a drive.
disturb3d
Cheers for the heads up.. Probably a good thing that my mate couldn't make it. It would have been a disappointing drive home
arpie
Very ugly pics indeed, Ray! It was really rough here a couple of days back, but settled down yesterday & today (in the southern end of our beach, anyway!~) The neighbour got some blackies & nice bream on cunje. I choose not to do the rocks much at all just now! Much prefer getting into the leases & the lake for my fishing! Persistent rain today, tho the sun is now trying to come out!!!
