Deschanel
Hi everyone about to change the gear oil in this motor just wondering if any one knows roughly how much it will take? Wouldn't want to runout half way cheers dominic
a boat
Hi Dominic, get yourself a gear lube kit P/N 778754 that comes completer with a litre of high grade oil and installer. Then you can juts buy the litre bottle next time. Your engine will use about 1/2 the bottle each re-fill. Raider price for usch a kit is $39. Cheers, Huey. chrisg
That kit is well worth it..saves so much stuffing around. Huey...you don't happen to know if Merc boxes have the same thread do you? C.
a boat
Hi Chris, no problem with Merc boxes-this BRP kit will screw in fine and it really is the best oil you can use in any gearbox-I do not care what brand. Cheers, Huey
