olitay
Hi Raiders, went offshore today with Simon (framedtrash) and managed a nice king and thumpy Bonito. The King went 80. 6.5KG The current was raging and we really struggled to get the jigs to the bottom. Bit sloppy out there too. There was surface action everywhere and a heap of bonnies. Check out Simon on his new Jig outfit! http://www.billyd.com.au/simonfish I couldnt help my self and had to get a pic with it. Was great having you onboard Oscar Blue Simon, we will do it again one day! BillyD Edited June 8, 2010 by BillyD

I have only ever jigged with spin outfits so would you say your reel is just as easy to get use to? Cheers Gorms.

jewgaffer
Good effort finding the kingfish and then jigging them up Billy .. Simon really has a good grasp on the best gear to use and is very knowledgable as to the theory part of it all and it won't be too long before he's out there putting it all together and showing others how to locate and catch decent size fish too ... Cheers jewgaffer
