Fishing Show On Tvs Yesterday

Anybody watch this show last night (Strike zone)? They were fishing for tuna and boy did they get one. The one on the end of the show was huge 158kg if I recall correctly and 6hr + fight Great if you have a boat, or charter to get out there and catch these monsters. I am now trying to convince the to let me get on board of a one of these boats chasing tuna, or large fish. It's good for my self-esteem, self-worth and overall mental well being.

I'd try a different angle...

Try and convince the to let you get a boat of your own and explain that it would be good for the whole family!

Then, when she says "NO!" - which innevitably she will, you can show her you're willing to compromise by suggesting you do the charter instead, which will then also give you the argument that you are saving the family money by not having the cost of buying the boat!

hmm.. then again, I'm seperated, so my "advice" may not be the best . Maybe thats where "I" went wrong!

On the plus side, I didnt have to ask anybody's permission when I went out and bought a boat!!!

was a mammoth effort and there was an awefull lot edited out as you would imagine with such passionate fisho under pressure.

one little bleeper was left in though ..

woulda loved to be there to see how the gaff man fared off camera

fish went 154.7 and was a record.. a bigger fish ,well 1kg bigger was caught the following day but 4 anglers took turns so no record there...

there was plenty fish 100 - 140 at that time , maybe the longliners missed that school eh ...

well worth watching again as he points out some really good info on setups etc.. theres a couple replays over next few days....

adventurebound also has lee onto a barrel of fun tonight.. another awesome show.. lee has done good to fill neil's shoes but neil is missed heaps..rip buddy........

tomorro 9am and sunday 5pm and also theres a n.z fishing show after opfkfpo on sat its mad last week they tagged 21 mariln in one trip 5 hook ups at once

kingfisher84, yeah thats Mat Watson a decky on the ultimate lady, They fish the whanganella Banks for unheard of captures of marlin, will cost you $10000/ person to go. He is also the guy that jumps out of the hellicopter to catch the marlin by hand, catches them on stand up paddleboards, jetskis etc. Hes a classic. Cant wait to see the burley machine episode

Yeah they also included a solid "Just shut-up....." It happeded after they tried the first time to gaff it and bring it to the boat. Well they missed and the Tuna just took off like a fat kid chasing a lamington."
