jordan.widz
G'day Raiders Decided to hit Berowra waters with cranky and his cousin in his new tinny, which is set up perfectly for casting plastics. The first stop was the the shallow waters of Calabash bay to throw some blades in hope of some nice winter bream..... within just 10 minutes of casting Ethan was on to a good Bream that went 32cm. The new Minn Kota was great as we could make our own drifts and hold the boat right over the fish, it made everything so much easier. After not much else was biteing but a few tailor we thought we might try and head downstream to chase some flathead on softplastics. Once we had a quick bite to eat we started tossing aroung some lures and soon enough Luke was onto a flattie that measured up just legal, so in the bag he went. And after changing plastics to the one Luke was using, I too was one with a flattie that went 43cm. We did a few more drifts in that area but couldn't pick up much else but undersized flathead so we motored off and tried trolling blades for some more flatties but still couldn't get any legal ones. We thought that was enough for the day so we headed back to the ramp and went home. All in all it was a pretty fun day with plenty of laughs and good times (except for when I almost fell in the drink 3 times) See ya on the water, Prawn Star
slinkymalinky
Sound's like an enjoyable session, Prawn Star. You don't want to be falling in the drink at this time of year without an ice-survival kit A few nice fish and good company is a great way to spend time Cheers, Slinky
