Did you get the hairtail at the mouth of the river? or did you come back in to the river ? cant wait for the photos

finin Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Beautiful looking fish, they actually feed in a vertical position, mouth up, tail down. They then shimmer to attract bait fish

Bet he made a tasty dish. ... yet to get one... but def high on the list, lol Nice catch mate, Jewies and Hairies often feed in same areas and will feed at same tides and on same fodder- there might have been a big chance of a jew lurking around the same area.
