johnv Posted June 28, 2010 Share Posted June 28, 2010 well we hit pittwater today around 11am trying to show my teenage son & his girlfreind how catch some fish [eg] squid & kings well we didnt get either but we did manage some nice tailor only three around the 45 to 65 cm in size on the troll, still its a nice little feed for us water was very calm around the heads & itwas a great day out there left at 5pm to head home for a cheers john Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jewgaffer Posted June 28, 2010 Share Posted June 28, 2010 Nice little Pittwater session John...tailor of that size at this time of winter certainly speaks well for the standard of fishing that we can expect for the rest of the winter...I think the season has moved around a cog and, although the breeding size bream schools appear to be staying on, it seems the breeding size jewfish might be late coming in....
