andy mitchell
G'day all I took my young bloke for a fish on Wedensday arvo. We were chasing Bream on mullet strip baits under the Tumbulgum Bridge on the Tweed river. i cast up against the second pilon and BANG i was on. The little Sahara screamed as the 6lb braid was burning from the reel it was obvious i had a good fish on . I called it for a ray then maybe a Jew then it was holy shit its a jack!! we had no net so i fought the fish till I got it on its side and surfed it onto the rocks. My son and i just stared for a few seconds!!!!!! the fish went 60cm I did not weigh it but must have been over 3kg ignore the date on the pics. This was 2 days ago middle of winter. cheers andy
Jewhunter
Holy crap Andy! I can't believe I missed this report until now. Mate that is an awesome Jack. I can't believe you nailed it from the shore on 6lb! What an effort! Your young blokes' eyes must have popped out of his head. That is a fantastic Jack. Thanks for the top report & sharing the info! True Raider spirit! Well done Andy! Cheers, Grant.
