Hi all a newbie to this so not sure if here is the right place for this question but here goes.

I’m looking at a stacer 519 easy rider on a tandem total weight around 1200kgs give or take the maximum towable on my 2.4 litre mitsubishi Grandis is 1800kgs with brake assist which all seems fine it tows my current 4.00m tinny no problems (big difference I know) my question is am I pushing it to put this boat behind my people mover?

And what are peoples thought on my ability to pull this boat out of the water with what I’m using?

Keeping in mind I’m using it for river boating with good ramps around this area ect

Guess dealer will answer but like to hear the real people in the field’s thoughts

Thanks for reading

Hey Buddy

I tow my 5 metre centre console with my gf's little Holden Astra. I don't think you will have any problems with your current car.

Besides if it is rear wheel drive and it is low tide and slippery.

hey mate,

firstly, dont listen to a word the dealer says... he/she will say anything to get you into a new car....

when it comes time for me to purchase my first boat, i will be looking for a 4wd, prefferably deisel.... you never know when your gonna be faced witha slippery ramp etc... but i know its alot of money to spend just to tow a boat....
