Guest
We are thinking about going to Berowra Waters tomorrow. Has anyone been there lately? I will be trying out some new blades. Moored boats and rocky shorelines will get you plenty of strikes in the back waters Lyn . Dont forget to let the blades rest on the bottom for a few secs then give a few quick jabs and then let them sink again. Cheers Stewy
Flattiehunter991
I'm hoping to head out to Berowra Waters this week... will be targeting Bream with chicken and mullet gut. hookmeup
went to berowra Fri 16th,tried the old trusty calabash bay on rising tide(hardly fails) for donut, had chicken & parmasan, prawns, pillies, tried plastics & small blades, got 3 takes in 7 hours, landed nothing. dead, ded, dedd, but sure was a fantastic day to be out on the water. Dalucius
Thank you for your replies. Four of us headed out for a lazy afternoon. We put the boat in at 12.30pm and headed past the ferry and fished up to the last house. Amy was first to get in the water and before we all had a chance to get organised and cast in she had caught 3 flathead all just over 30cm. Between Geoff and Mark they caught a few tailor, bream and flathead. All fished with blades except me, I was having a very lazy day. I fished with chicken breast with no luck. We released all fish for another day. Once the sun dropped below the hillside the cold set in so we headed home. Good to see that they have upgraded the car park unfortunately a lot of cars took up car/trailer spots. Hopefully this will be policed better in busy times. Flattiehunter991
Good to see you got some luck ^ I went out there today, caught zippppp ! Barely a nibble on my chicken breast or prawn baits. Didnt bother wasting the other baits..... The water was freezing and weather turned sour.. shame.
