Nissan Navara St-X 08

Hi Guys,

Thinking of buying a Navara 2007-2009 ST-X. Does anyone own any of them? Any major problems with them?

I just sold my 2006 Pathfinder ST manual diesel which has the same engine, drive train and gear box as the Navara. It was an excellent tow vehicle (easily towed my 4.2m tinnie with camping gear from Sydney - Central QLD - Sydney over last Christmas holidays) and they are great value for money......however I had to replace the clutch at 90000km. The bloke who fixed it at the 4WD workshop indicated to me that he has had a number of Navaras and Pathfinders into his shop for clutch replacements at about the 70000 - 100000km mark and all of them had been used as tow vehicles. Therefore, my advice is that if you are getting a manual get someone to closely check the clutch before the purchase.
