First Fish In Sydney

landed my first fish since moving to Sydney yesterday off the blocks at port botany( looks out towards the heads). My first cast using a flick bait was smashed by a thumper salmon, then again by two more in about 20 mins. All fish were easy over 3kg and were stripping line from my little Luna 103, i could only just get both hands around their girth before being sent back to fight another day. sorry for no pics but it was my first time there and didn't exactly have the correct footwear for the place to be messing around with pictures and what not.

cheers to baz and tesh for tips on the place and letting me fish next to you guys cause that place is kind of scary.

Now just to find one of these Sydney kings I've heard so much about.

Mate well done good effort at Trevally Alley, good size Salmon as they have all been around 1 to 1.5 of late its great to here of a few ripper moving into the Bay, Kingie are a better chance in Summer but with the right bait you never know,I have caught then in August at this spot but very few.

I guest you will fish this spot again all the best mate.
