Ray And Hutcho Out For A Fish

G'day Raiders, went out today for a fish with Hutcho, the first time out in his boat for a while,

not many reports of fish but we thought we would have a go anyway.

We took off early and set up just off Lobster Beach and berleyed up hoping for a bream, the tide had just turned

high and there wasn't much action so he thought that we would have a troll down to Lion Island and back.

So we set out a couple of lures and crawled along to Lion, just as we rounded Little Box I spotted a seal so I

grabbed a couple of long range shots and we watched him play in the wash for a while before trolling our way down

to Lion.

This was a nice relaxing time but there were no takers so we went back to Lobster as the tide was on the move and

this suited this area better, a little run with some fun fish.

We picked up quite a few trevs that were a ball, some double hook ups with big grins all round. The fish were not

big but there were a few keepers amongst them as well as some bream.

After a hour of play time the bite went off so we decided to head on back to the ramp stopping for one final drift

around the Wagstaffe area for no takers except for small reddies.

So that is it, a nice morning out in fish land and a few nice fish for the table..
