Michael Hatte
Its a great system for squid mate, like mentioned above just look out weed patchs close to the shore line. Also worth a try in some of the deeper areas of the system, sometimes they school up in holes just as well they hold up over weed. On a clam day(no swell)try between Cronulla point and Shark Island, great kelp beds there!
A.dawg
Lots of arrows in the system as mentioned by previous raiders but you don't catch them in numbers, the only place you can catch in numbers that i had heard off which i havent tried yet is Bundeena side but if you are travelling from a distance to get to the Hacking take a extra rod with you for a bream or jew, you never know they are still being caught. Cheers, George. They are being caught in good numbers and consistently even on our side ( not bundeena side) I managed 4 last thursday 11 last friday nd 6+ 1 big green eye last night... Green eyes are really hard to get now.

A.dawg
What do you mean our side, if possible can you specify our side. Cheers, George. Sydney side is our side... just got back an hour ago went down for about 1 hour and a half between me and mum got 13 arrows So arrows are definately plentyful As for lilli pilli baths I know some regulars there who squid pretty much 4-5 days week there and they havnt been pulling em in consistently It is also illegal to fish inside the baths and getting a spot to fish there is proving to be impossible without sparking up a fight or arguement

Wrxter Trust me the whole hacking is full of squid you just need to spend time hunting for em They are never only at 1 spots. I always hop around every 2 weeks until you find 1 fishing well that place will fish well for em for about 2 weeks then it dies and you need to hop around again. ivano
Hi Guys, I'm new to The Hacking area. Can you guys pin point a spot that I can definitely try for squid as I don't even know what roads there are there? Maybe you guys can give me a landmark for me to work on? Also, what time did U guys get the squid? Lastly, do U guys fish when there's moon or when there's no moon? I usually catch more when there's no moon but thought I'll just ask the experts here their views? Thanks. d()b
