david88
Hey guys, i have just bought a saragosa 8000 for jigging. Many people speak of doing a bunch of modifications to the reel such as tightening/ locking screws and filling with greese etc. Would anyone be able to explain to me how to open up the reel to tighten the infamous screws and would it void my warranty to use loctite or a similar product? cheers guys. thanks heaps. framedtrash
ive got a saragosa 18000 and its never needed a thing done to it the only thing i have done is change the handle on it to a stella handle and i just added a little bit of loctite to the handle screws im no reel expert but i dont think u should be using loctite inside of a reel if it seeps into some where its not supposed to your going to have issues
iMick
Just picked up my Saragosa 8000 today... aren't they good for the money? I'm not going to touch mine, except for Carbontex drag washer but even that I'm in no rush to do. Mick
