Well who was I to refuse? Loaded up the van with the work gear and headed north. Bout 9PM I was thinking about dinner ..coming up on the Port Maquarie Service centre ..thinking about the wonderfull weather and the morning session and I caught ... A bloody deer! What a mess..... Hire cars, tow trucks, hotel accom, no bloody fishing!!! Might have a flick on the way back Cheers Chris

Day's Fishin
Hi Chris, bad luck mate. I can sympathize with you. My hit a roo 300meters from our drive and cracked the front bumper and gravel shield. 2 weeks later a big black male decided to play chicken with my truck about the same spot as the hit. Only this time he picked on something to big. The dogs had enough food for a couple of weeks. There has been a lot of deer around here lately as well but the dogs will have to wait in line if I hit one of them. Regards Jeff
