njg02
Hi all. I've got dual batteries operated by a 4 way manual switch. I want to put in a VSR but I'm not sure where to connect it. Does it go between the batteries or before both? I've attached a mud map of what I have now, I hope its ok. Battery two is what i want as the house battery and leave battery one as the start battery. Thanks Neil

rickb
Hi njg02, I didn't answer your thread yesterday, because I have rigged mine differently,I have same switch, but don't use vsr,my number 1 battery is wired to motor as I use that to start motor,2 battery carries everything else. have used that system for last 5 years. cheers Rick. njg02
Thanks guys. Rickb, I've got it set now where my fridge is straight off no2, but if I don't go anywhere or forget to change the switch, she goes flat. Dorado, yeah seen that diagramme but not exactly like mine. With that diagramme does it mean that the wires to the separate switches would go to my single switch, pos1 and 2? I hate electrickery. Give me a hammer anytime.
