stefan
was at the spit last saturday at low tide mid morning and casted a jig to kill some time after a rock climbing session. 3rd cast caught a huge calamari with another one following it which i missed out on. Id say u shud stick 2 the spit area but dont fish just the bridge... 300-400m down and up stream on either side pending on wind (purely so its not miserable). i dont usually fish the area but by looking at the day on the side i was on i literally saw 20+ spots to try. Just dont pick the obvious wharfs/deep areas all the time. Weed is + Edited September 4, 2010 by stefan
