perty
Decided to have a flick down Maroubra beach last night, hopefully for a Salmon or two.. With a 2-3 foot swell, slight oof shore breeze and a 6.21pm high tide, the chances looked good. Found a gutter out in front of the surf club, sure enough right at the top of the tide, bagged three good fish around 65 cm. Kept two for the smoker and let the other one go, all in all a good quick session. These fish are so underated eh, when bled and cleaned straight away, salted and smoked they are primo

In terms of eating though, I disagree. There are definantly ways that you can make the "edible", however compared to most other table fish, Australian salmon are near the bottom of the list. Indeed they are near the bottom of the list, but it takes alot to deter me from enjoying fresh seafood, regardless of the species;)..Growing up in NZ may have something to do with it, we eat some pretty strange seafood over there ,,, lol
