customcasting Posted September 9, 2010 Share Posted September 9, 2010 Im heading up to seal rocks for a surf comp with my son this weekend ,going to have a bit of time between heats so I thought I would head around the rocks and have a cast for a red ,has any one fished for snapper land based in this area ? i fish a few spots 20 years ago and did well ,thanks for any help ,Custom Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In front of the Light house the Rocks are called sawtooth, walk as far as you can on the right side looking out to sea in front of the Lighthouse, cast there and you should do well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
customcasting Posted September 16, 2010 Author Share Posted September 16, 2010 thanks groper ,got 2 reds from saw tooth ,fished south end of lighthouse beach on the rocks for bream in the arvo .kept 9 ,heaps of bream around the head lands ,bream when bread and the reds were on squid.
