brendong
As mentioned in my other report, we managed to get some of the trip on video so I thought I'd share with you guys...enjoy...I'll try and get the double hook up on top water Sambo's up at some stage along with a healthy black bream capture too. 60cm flathead on SX40 - I love watching my gear put through its paces in this one EP from the Snags Video Top water Salmon strike on Zippin Ziggy - and believe me was a small one, we didn't manage to capture any of the airbourne missle attacks (they never play up for the camera when required do they)

Cheers, Cam Cam I think we came up out of about 8ft to 3 ft and whack...we got another 57cm girl doing much the same thing...awesome stuff, I had never really trolled SX40's before...would be easy to do with the kids I reckon too... brendong
Begginer, We were just using the movie function on our digital camera's, that's probably why the distance shots aren't as good as they could be...but its fine for the closeup work I reckon...I've just got one of those Olympus ones that the dog eats on the TV commercial so its water proof and is great for taking on the boat and has an under water function too...best camera for an active family and can take some punishemnt....but you do lose a little on zoom.... Day's Fishin
Nice Flathead! Your mate could use some practice on the landing net (it's a bugger when the fish don't want to play) or get a bigger net. Regards Jeff
