Sounder Position

Picked up my new 798 Humminbird today, and now for the install, any ideas about head mounting or position

you could use a Universal Ram mount and bolt it down into your gunnel infront of your gear control, if you have a look at the mount it has 2 swivel joints, so you can position the screen the way you like it. check to see that the bottom mounting of the lowrance will line up on one end of the ram mount, you might be able to modify the bracket to suit.

If i compare my boat to yours, it would be set up to the right of the steering wheel next to that black dot/switch ? ( Making sure there was enough clearance with the wheel )
