Brooklyn Jew Night

Heading out tonight chasing my 2nd career Jew at Brooklyn. My first was a soapy in the middle of the day on a stinky sun burnt pilchard under brooklyn bridge (they could hear me celebrating at berowra) so I guess all the normal rules are out the window.

Watch this space, I'll post the report tomorrow.

Happy fishing people.

Well a very quite evening indeed.

It started a little earlier than planned when we set up at parsley bay near the old oyster lease. We arrived just as the tide was turning so it was a bit dead to begin with. 2 catch and release bream was an hours worth at that spot, and with that decided to head over to the freeway bridge to set up camp.

3 lines set in between the 2 of us and a small spinner each flicking lures where the burly trail was floating to, this went on for about 3 hours before the first bite, which was a screamer but snagged up shortly after, so no fish. Nxt rod almost instantly went screaming away, but unfortunately the fight was bigger than the fish, small bream went back in the water and we set them again. Another 2 hours passed and it was decided that it's just not our night. Quick bite at McD's on the way home and another fishing outing over.

All in all a poor night but alot better than the alternative of nothing. The boat will be back on the water next week so with a little planning I'm thinking a full day Monday on the bite.
