Good Spots For Beach Fishing In Sydney?

Well, guys, i went to palm beach last friday (11pm~3pm) and had some satisfactory results. I saw some guys fishing at the edge of the swimming pool (Not allowed) had no luck. My mate and I chuck the line with whole pillies on a gang hook. We had a few nice catches including decent sized tailers x2 and two breams (i think they were bream) close to 40cm.

Being a rookie beach fisher, i do not know many places to go. I heard Whale beach, which is right next to the palm beach, is a good place to be. Have any of you guys had some good experiences there? Also, which part of the beach is good place to cast the line in~?
