darcy77
Raiders, we are off to Lake Macquarie on Friday for a few days, staying at Pelican so close to the channel. I have my tinny and the electric ready to go - now, where do i start...any feedback wld be appreciated. My initial plan was to fish the bridge and channel, then get out to the west side of pullbah island - mainly flicking for flatties. any more thoughts would be awesome...thanks
Catchin Jack
Around bridge is ok, sand flats west side of bridge drifting, Salts Bay, Pulbah Island and the drop off at end of channel. There's also a little channel just east of the bridge on the southern side, go in there and you'll see the fish, some quite big, just careful of the current and sand bars, go in slow. There's also Wangi Point to try. Cheers, Leo

I was going to try the above but also going to try in between Coal Point & Cane Point and along the edges of Hartley,Green and Cardiff Point. I'm going to have a crack land based on the entrance of the inlet ( somewhere between the 3rd & 4th red bouy ) If you see the Stessl in my pic, gimme a holler or send me a PM. Would be good to meet another raider. CHeeRS Antun
