kingfishercam
Gday raiders , i have a mate who has some fishing gear to sell due to a family member passing on,Id like to buy a few of the reels off him for myself but im unaware what sort of price they are. The reels are daiwa certate 2500 and 3000 sizes , there is three of them in covers and all look new. I did however notice they are left handed reels so is it possible to change the side the handle is on so i can use them???( look more complicated to just unscrew and swap sides). so if any one can help me decide what i need to pay him as he has no idea please advise me so.if they cannot be changed to right handed please let me know if anyone is intrested.cheers.cam. Hooked-Up
quality reels mate, unfortunate about your mate, yes they can be changed to right hand, they have new model certates now that are selling for about 450-500 bucks, and in some places that still have the old ones theyre asking around the 400 mark, like i said very good reels mate. steze
thanks for the advice , can you tell me do i need to buy extra parts to do the right hand side swap or is it a case or unscrewing the nuts and transfering it around the other way????? You can just unscrew the nut and swap the handles over. As mentioned above the current model certate is selling for 499. The older models, that is if the shop still sells them should be around 400.
