Grant 1874
hi mate Wat size of boat do u have? Some good spots around that area would be the banks, the block & cheese & drum & drumsticks these all produce good kingies ova summer & pretty sure that they all produce snapper as well. I will be fishing those areas a lot ova summer as well may see you down there Cheers Grant

The BANKS can be a very tricky spot to fish and does get very ,very rough at times like a washing machine when the current and wind oppose each other. The BAR at Crookhaven Heads is extremely nasty and not for the feint hearted in a nor-easter witha big run out tide. My advice would be to stick to the sheltered waters of JERVIS BAY and launch at Calalla or even lauch at Currarong and fish in close around Beecroft headland. Guest
are there any spots for good snapper and kings around the beecroft headlands The wreck just off Currarong and the bommie in close are good spots to try for reds and kings with the odd samson fish as well. cooper69
plenty of reefs of Penguin and Crookhaven heads for snapper . New boat ramp at Currarong should be close to finished by now as well. See you down there on the water Edited December 22, 2010 by Fezza posting non sponsor links
