Botany Bay Morning Trip

Out on the water at 7am from the airport, water was like glass and stayed like that most of the morning awesome conditions for fishing.

Motor was playing up on me so decided to stay inside the bay, numerous schools of tailor causing havoc on the surface, managed to catch a few all undersize though so back they went.

Headed over to molli point for some drifting brought up a 50cm Kingie which put up a good fight, which was released after a quick photo. Quitened down towards lunch so decided to head back since the motor was still konking out on me in neutral.

Funny thing was I caught all the fish including the Kingie on the same berkley gulp lure haha talk about bang for your buck.

Hopefully get back out there soon once I get the old 50hp Merc serviced.
