Has Lake Entrance Fired Off?

Hi Raiders,

Looking to head up that direction when the weather gets better! It's always the case when you've got some time off work and ready for a fish!

I have yet to experience the Whiting frenzy up in the lake! Have seen it whilst was there for holiday a couple of years ago, near the mouth of the lake! Guys were pulling them up one after another if like they were queing to check out of the supermarket just before christmas! lol

Any reports?

we often go up there our best for whiting was about 4 years ago whiting after whiting fishing from the northern side there use to be small sand bars about 15 meters out we use to sit on those untill the tide came up fishing was unreal as for the fishing firing up the fish never stop year round at the entrance u just need to change to different types of fish we have caught big bream,tailor,flat head,whiting and ive also seen alot of black fish being caught right out front of the north side car park 3 foot from the waters edge!

Had a bbq today at the entrance of the lake and i saw few guys pulling up whitting... not all big tho. I tried Sp and hardbodys for a ZERO! We fished the end of the run in and the start of the run out and definetly started to bite on the run out.
