adkel53
Not sure whether this is the best place for this post - if not can a moderator please move it. Upon returning to the boat ramp on Tuesday evening after catching some bonnies and tailor around Molineaux Point and a lone lizard of 67 cm on the other side of the bay, we were about to drive off when my mate spotted a bucket standing by its lonesome nearby. He decided that we should take it with us rather than leave it to be thrown away (or be taken by someone else). However, inside it were some reels and other tackle. What to do? Leave it there and hope the owner might came back for it, or take it home and try to track down the owner somehow? As it was almost dark we opted for the latter, reasoning that someone else would surely take it (there were plenty of people around) and probably regard it as a windfall without at least trying to find the owner. So, if you lost some fishing gear, or know who did, please pm me and if you can describe the bucket and its contents I will be very happy to return it to you. Failing that, I guess it is us that have had a little windfall!! However, I do hope that the rightful owner reads this and gets their gear back. Tight lines. adkel53
Thanks for the nice compliments!! Recently I left my Titleist Vokey lob wedge (which I was rather attached to) somewhere on my local golf course during a round of golf. Whoever picked it up decided that they needed it more than me and did not hand it in at the Proshop. Bastards!! Hence, I know what it feels like to lose something that you value in such a manner. That good karma could visit me in tonight's Lotto draw if it wishes!! Happy New Year to all, Kel Edited January 1, 2011 by kel
