BFB
I am looking at heading onto the Bay in the morning. Not quite as early as you but I am a bit concerned in regards to the predicted wind reports.

Shaggytrevally
Well what a windy day, never believe the weather it did calm down for a few hours, got my kingie but only a small rat 73cm on a bottom bashing rig off dolls point, once the wind died off some hours later after sunrise bit the bullet and headed up toward molineux point. Only to stop after we found some fish busting up on the surface we caught 3 bonito, 2 tailor and watched as the kingies were following the bonito on the end of our line there was about 5 or so hanging around as the bonito was pulled in. Then once the sun hit the water and the clouds disappeared the buggers would not take any thing we threw at them. We then decide after having sore arms and being annoyed with boof heads that kept driving into the schools instead of the edges, we head up and anchored off the red marker at molineux point. Mate caught a nice 2.6kg Flathead gutted. Good day in the end but the wind was annoying.
stormy
At least your King was legal. So many around that go just under. It surely is frustrating when boats see you hooked up and come racing over to get into the action, driving through the school or worse if you are anchored and they drop theirs so close that they could step across into your boat. I have taken to fishing mid week to lessen the stress
