My my dad decided to take his boat from Broken Bay to Port Stephens on Sunday so my little brother, 2 mates and myself decided we would come for the trip. Well the weather was too perfect not to have a fish. We went out a week and a half earlier off Broken Bay up to the Canyons and down the shelf without turning a reel (marlin wise) so we were excited to redeem ourselves. We ended up with a nice 90 odd kg stripey, our first for the season and with the picturesque day it was an awesome day had by all.
