Tip Tip Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Went trout fishing in the snowy over new year and fished with live Mud Eyes which we were able to scoop each day from a creek not to far from where we were staying. They can be hard to find at times and we were really lucky to find one spot at a creek where they were each day. When we got home it made me wonder where else apart from the snowy mouyntains can you get live mud eyes as it may be interesting using mud eyes at wentworth falls lake on the quiet. As it turns out member The Alby has just got his pool looking crystal clear as it has been a swamp for a little while but on closer inspection the swampy conditions looked to be the perfect nursery for the dragon flys to lay there lava. He would have had a hundred spider mud eyes that have crawled up the side of the pool and hatched like a cicarda. I am trying to convince him to let his pool go a slimey green before next years trip so we have bait to take with us from sydney. The other alternative is to stock the pool with trout
