hey guys, great day on the water on sat... not much bait found, current raging to the south.. 1st strike was awesome, marlin took a massive first run and started jumping all over the place, three newbies on board they were all freaking out.. threw the hook 5mins into the fight.. that strike was in 70ft of kiama... next strike was up close and personal with a huge striped marlin smashing the short corner and cartwheeling behind the transom and then hitting overdrive and almost jumping in the boat... it was a massive fish over 100kg... the boys are still talking about it....nothing else for the rest of the day.. lots of radio chatter from around the banks area... get out there whilst its hot...
