chriswilson Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Hello fellow fishing addicts...I've been following the site for awhile, but only just joined. Hope to be able to contribute to the great community. I'm looking for info on fishing the tip of Booti Booti National Park up near Pacific Palms. A mate filled me in on some of the details, like the fairly long walk in on the North side of the headland. But wondering if anyone has fished there and can give me a few more details. Can you catch slimey mack and yakkas out on the end, or do I need to hike them in buckets? Is there a defined ledge to fish or are there a few choices? I've heard it's a great spot for tuna and kings off the rocks and wanted to head up there next month. Thanks for any help you can give.
matt84 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 defined ledge, not very big only fishes a couple at a time, not worth the walk.
craigtempo Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Dont know about the rocks BUT the beach fishes well craig
