hamerz84 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 hit the parramatta river this morning at 1st light. armed with a couple new pacs of atomic softies, switch the electric on and i hit all the moorings and jetties. had a great morning catching 5 bream over 30cm biggest being 33cm and heaps of throw backs. had a monster bream spit the hook boatside he looked to be easily over 40cm im still cursing. anyways keep working my way around and flick my plastic rite up against an old boat and as soon it sank below the surface i was onto a serious fish, flick the baila arm over and whack the fun begins, at first thought i called it as a rat king but as the fight went past the 5 minute mark the fish tired and i started winning the battle couple minutes later this monster surfaced. biggest trev i have ever come accross he measured a touch over 55cm. i couldnt believe my eyes this fish went like a runaway steam train and on 3pound gear i was sh@ting bricks around the moorings. had a great morning and discovered some new fishing grounds. cheers hamerz.
