AndrewNR
Its a tuff tackle reel Worth looking at the sniper 6000? Like to support aussies but dont like to throw money away. Thought or experiences are much appreciated. Edited February 19, 2011 by Blood Knot

Guest
I have used one and whilst they look and feel the goods the drag is absolute garbage and would need to be rectified before becoming a serious contender in the big fish stakes. Stellas and Saltigas leave em for dead !!!
Little Hooker
Ive also read on the internet from a guy that actually own one which the reel fell apart and which the company didnt live up to there 5yr warranty. I personally would stick to the known brands eg saltgia
AndrewNR
Maybe a saragosa 14000f is a better option?

framedtrash
there first run of reels didnt go too well i would stick with the known brands the saragosa's are great reels for there price what do you intend on doing with the reel ?? the 14/18000 are quite large and heavy ive got the 8000 and i think its perfect for fishing sydney 12kg of drag is more then enough

tentonner
ive been using a bigger version this year chasing kings in the harbour, while i cant compare them to stellas and saltigas having never used either, for $350 (i dont think its a fair comparison when you look at the price difference) my reel has performed beautifully, heaps of torque and the drag has been good landing kings up to 90cm
